Whidbey Royalty, is a nonprofit organization that gets its roots from the earlier nonprofit, PageantWyse, which produced the first Miss Oak Harbor Scholarship Pageant in 2015. After a brilliant 4-year run, PageantWyse ended, but Whidbey Royalty took up the mantle under the name Miss Oak Harbor in 2020. The organization now goes by the name Whidbey Royalty. Thanks to the efforts of a dedicated Board of Directors and tremendous community support, Whidbey Royalty presents three competitions each year: the Miss Oak Harbor Scholarship Pageant and the Mr. Oak Harbor Scholarship Competition, which both deliver thousands of dollars in scholarships and awards each year to high schoolers, and the Pioneer Way Pageant, which offers girls and boys ages 0-14 the opportunity to participate in an all-natural pageant.

Our mission is to empower youth by providing a platform that fosters networking, cultivates a sense of responsibility, and embraces the acceptance of all. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where participants can grow their skill sets, engage in meaningful volunteerism, and build lasting connections. Through our pageants, we celebrate diversity, encourage personal growth, and provide scholarships to support educational aspirations. We aim to inspire a sense of accomplishment in participants as they develop into confident, compassionate leaders committed to giving back to their communities.
