Whidbey Royalty is a nonprofit organization rooted in the earlier nonprofit, PageantWyse, which produced the first Miss Oak Harbor Scholarship Pageant in 2015. We added the Pioneer Way Pageant in 2016 and the Mr. Oak Harbor Scholarship Competition in 2023. Since 2024, we've operated under the name Whidbey Royalty, having grown into a respected community service organization. Today, thanks to the efforts of a dedicated Board of Directors and tremendous community support, Whidbey Royalty presents an annual high school competition in the spring, the Whibey Royalty Scholarship Competition, which delivers thousands of dollars in scholarships and awards to high schoolers each year. We also sponsor several community events: a Winter Ball for high school students, the Whidbey Royalty Fashion Show in February, the Pioneer Way Pageant in June, and the Deck the Pets Pageant at the end of the year.

Our mission is to empower youth by providing a platform that fosters networking, cultivates a sense of responsibility, and embraces the acceptance of all. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where participants can grow their skill sets, engage in meaningful volunteerism, and build lasting connections. Through our pageants, we celebrate diversity, encourage personal growth, and provide scholarships to support educational aspirations. We aim to inspire a sense of accomplishment in participants as they develop into confident, compassionate leaders committed to giving back to their communities.
