The Mr. OH Club, made up of these lovely ladies, spent months planning and fundraising for the first Mr. Oak Harbor Scholarship Competition that culminated on pageant night when the 2023 Mr. Oak Harbor Royalty were crowned.
The newly crowned 2023 Mr. Oak Harbor Royalty visited competition sponsors to personally thank the business owners for their support.
The 2023 Mr. Oak Harbor Royalty have chosen to advocate for a community center in Oak Harbor as their service project. They gave a presented this information to the noon Rotary members.
It's always special when other nonprofit organizations request Whidbey Royalty's presence at their events. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Island County received lots of help during their Festival of Trees fundraising auction and the Teddy Bear Breakfast the next morning.
Bundled in their holiday attire, the Miss and Mr. Oak Harbor Courts represented Whidbey Royalty in Oak Harbor's Santa Parade.
In support of Miss Diane, who choreographs for our pageants, Miss and Mr. Oak Harbor Royalty were proud to serve as ushers and helpers during the weekend of TBSC Nutcracker performances.
First Prince Nolan and 2024 Miss contestant Savannah volunteered to get up early on January 1 to help the Oak Harbor Chamber clean up debris from the New Year's Eve fireworks display.
As their service project during their reign, the Mr. Royalty chose to advocate for a community rec center for the City of Oak Harbor. To that end, they've been making presentations to various organizations, and even landed on the City Council agenda for January 16. They thank the community for coming out in force to show support for this project.
Kiersten, Laurianna, Liz, Lucas, Nolan, and Brian all represented Whidbey Royalty at the Soroptimists' largest fundraiser of the year. They helped with set-up, spotting during the live auction, packaging up auction items, and tear-down.
Whidbey Royalty held a Valentine's Day Ball and hosted 208 high schoolers from OHHS, CHS, and HomeConnection, as well as many homeschooled students. 1st Princess Cali Pretti organized the production, Royalty were on hand to help during the event, and 2024 Miss Oak Harbor Scholarship Pageant contestants peddled tickets. It was a terrific affair!
With the help of Mr. Oak Harbor First Prince Nolan, Teen Mr. Oak Harbor 2024 Logan, and Teen Second Prince Brian, Whidbey Royalty presented the 2024 Miss Oak Harbor Scholarship Pageant on March 9 and crowned the new 2024 Miss Oak Harbor Royalty, who will serve our community for the next year. Whidbey Royalty delivered over $33,000 in scholarships and awards on pageant night!
It is only because of the generosity of our wonderful community sponsors that we are able to produce our scholarship competitions with such success. The 2024 Miss Oak Harbor Royalty made the rounds to thank our Title and Diamond sponsors for their support.
Whidbey Royalty walked in the St. Patrick's Day parade, handing out candy and Pioneer Way Pageant flyers to aspiring princes and princesses.
In addition to raising awareness for their service project--advocating for an Oak Harbor community rec center--the Mr. Oak Harbor Royalty also held a Mod Pizza fundraiser. We were so grateful for all those who came out to eat pizza and support this cause!
First Princess Naomi modeled and Teen Second Princess Emelyn lent a hand serving guests at The Center's major fundraiser, the Wearable Art Runway Show.
So fun to encourage the Whidbey Island Marathon runners and to be there at the finish line to congratulate them.
Handing out raffle prizes during charity events is a specialty of Whidbey Royalty. Also, helping to set up, greet guests, and clean up.
For the Noon Rotary program on April 26, Miss Oak Harbor Royalty gave a presentation highlighting their pageant experience and detailing their 2024 service project: North Whidbey Hearts & Hammers.
It was a wet day that started with everyone under umbrellas and a windy day that necessitated those umbrellas be put away so they didn't turn wrong-side-out. It was Holland Happening in April!
We love supporting local businesses by attending their ribbon cuttings. First Princess Naomi represented Whidbey Royalty at Welcome Home's.
Each year, the PBY Museum requests the presence of Whidbey Royalty at their largest fundraiser of the year. Teen Miss Oak Harbor Abby and Second Princess Emelyn were joined by 2023 People's Choice Lauryn and 2024 Miss All-Around to lend a hand.
The 2024 Miss Oak Harbor Royalty chose North Whidbey Hearts & Hammers as their service project. In addition to raising funds throughout the year for the organization, the Miss also participated in NWH&H's Workday and spent hours doing yard work.
The Miss Royalty were all working with NWH&H, so 2023 People's Choice Lauryn and 2024 Teen Miss Scholar Elise stepped up to help out at the Community Cares Mental Health Fair.
We are so grateful for our military and were happy to participate in the Memorial Day parade in Coupeville to help show our appreciation for their sacrifices.
Miss Diane choreographs for our pageants, and we are thrilled to return the favor by helping out at The Ballet Slipper Conservatory performances.
